Working On This Project Again
Hello just a quick update where with some plans for the game moving forward as I have conjured the motivation to begin working on the project yet again...
Goals:
-Single Player or Co-Op Option***: I really want to make it where you can select from the main menu to single player or co-op. I want to make it so you can play by yourself and swap between controlling player 1 and player 2 in order to complete the puzzles. This will likely be my biggest challenge moving forward.
-Refining the player controller: Creating a finite player state machine to create more efficient, organized code for the player controller.
-Level Transitions: More clarity/visual feedback on when a level has been completed. Quick Animation(s) between scenes to make the game feel more professional.
-Death animations/Game Over popup: Provide clarity when the level has been lost. Fun death animations to give the game some life. (i.e. getting burnt to a crisp when hitting a laser and your skeleton/bones falling to the ground)
-Clean Up Menus/Game Display: Make the menus look nicer and completed.
