I searched under tools for "top down character sprite template" and your asset didn't turn up at all on the first page at least! You should add some more keywords and tags to help SEO and itch.io's searchability! Great asset though! Thank you!
love all your work man .. looks great !! .. i do have a suggestion for the future animations ... 8 directional dash , 8 directional firearm (pistol ) animations (aiming & firing) while walking running & standing still , 8 directional Kusarigama (chain-scythe) attack , a floaty levitating stylized 8 directional movement set ( like dragon ball z characters just calmly not on the ground) or an 8 directional movement set for skateboard ( or surfboard or hoverboard or witches broom ) or instead of a board a bike or a horse

When importing into unity, for some reason, it includes the grey background. Were they removed?
Within the "Sprite Sheet" folder for each animation, there should be a full sprite sheet with a transparent background.
